MIT MUSEUM ARTHUR GANSON GALLERY RENOVATION

This project included a full gallery renovation and new permanent casework that provided an updated home for the mechanical and playful work of kinetic artist Arthur Ganson. Inspired by the artist’s work, a unique integrated labeling approach was developed. Because of the visitor activated operability of all the works, unique solutions for the wiring and power needs while maintaining ADA compliance had to be carefully coordinated and developed.
